The modernization of post offices will cost between 10 and 15 million euros over the next two years, and branding the vehicles of the Romanian Post's fleet with the new visual identity will cost between 50 and 100 euros per vehicle, General Director of the Romanian Post Valentin Stefan told a news conference on Thursday.

"Post offices need to be cleaned and modernized. The hub in Bucharest costs us 50 million lei, we will also give it a new visual identity there. The hub in Moldova will probably cost around 30 million lei. For the modernization of post offices, we estimate an investment of between 10 and 15 million euros over the next two years. This modernization must be done because everyone knows that the image and atmosphere of the post offices need to be updated. Moreover, branding the vehicles of the Romanian Post fleet with the new logo will cost between 50 and 100 euros per vehicle. Regarding employee uniforms, the contract value varies... For example, in 2023, the cost was about five million lei, but the Romanian Post had no expenses for those uniforms because we are obliged to employ many people with disabilities, and if you do not do this, you must pay a certain amount to the state. However, if you provide products made by protected companies, the Romanian state deducts 50% of the amount you owe to the budget. In the case of Romanian Post, every year we have ten million lei available which we spend on this type of companies that participate in the uniform tenders. That is why Romanian Post has zero costs for uniforms," Stefan said.

The management of the Romanian Post presented the company's new visual identity within a press conference, a rebranding process, launched in 2025, which aims to diversify the brand portfolio with a focus on universal counters, courier and logistics services, as well as digital financial and banking services.

Thus, the rebranding strategy entails a complex package that, in line with the organizational transformation process, includes a new visual identity for the Romanian Post "under the umbrella of a strong main brand, with a clear architecture consisting of five specialized sub-brands and one endorsed brand."

The rebranding process of the Romanian Post was developed in collaboration with Inoveo Concept, a Romanian branding and design agency with over 20 years of experience and an extended portfolio of projects for national and international brands.

The National Company "Romanian Post" is the national operator in the postal services area, currently managing a network of over 5,000 postal units nationwide, including 676 post offices and 1,054 postal counters.
