Alliance for Romanians' Union (AUR) senators, leader Petrisor Peiu announced in the plenary session on Wednesday the submission of a simple motion against Minister of the Environment Diana Buzoianu.
'We will submit the simple motion titled Prahova under siege. More than 100,000 Romanians condemned to thirst and illness under the complicit gaze of Environment Minister Diana Buzoianu.' We have the signatures of 39 senators,' Peiu said.
President of the Senate Mircea Abrudean announced that the debate and vote on the simple motion will take place on Monday.
'The date set for the debate and vote on the motion, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure, Articles 170 and 174, is Monday, 15 December at 16:00,' Abrudean said.
