The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened lower across most indices in Tuesday's trading session, with turnover reaching 2.62 million lei (514,626 euro) after the first 30 minutes of trading.
The main index, BET, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a decrease of 0.07%, while the BET-Plus index, which reflects the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was down 0.06%.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most traded securities, declined 0.03%, while the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment funds, fell 0.04%.
The BET-FI index, which tracks the five Financial Investment Companies (SIFs), registered an increase of 0.35%, while the BET-NG index, comprising the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded a decline of 0.11%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market (the alternative trading system), was up 0.13%.
According to BVB data, the largest share price increases were recorded by Safetech Innovations (+1.7%), BRD (+1.18%) and Chimcomplex Borzesti (+1.14%).
On the other hand, the most significant declines were seen in the shares of Sinteza (-9.02%), Alumil Rom Industry (-1.63%) and Transport Trade Services (-1.11%).
