"Congratulations and thanks to my colleagues at the APIA, who have been working since 2:00 am to ensure these payments reach beneficiaries as quickly as possible!," Tanczos Barna conveyed.
He mentioned that payments would continue at the same pace over the coming days, so that the money would reach farmers' accounts as quickly as possible.
The Payments and Intervention Agency for Agriculture (APIA) began advance payments under the 2026 Campaign on Friday, while exceptional state aid for farmers affected by drought and livestock breeders is due to be paid by 31 December 2026.
According to a release issued by the institution, advance payments under the 2026 Campaign are essential to ensuring the financial resources needed to continue agricultural activities.
The institution is also planning to implement exceptional state aid schemes for farmers affected by the 2025 soil drought, as well as for pig and cattle farmers.
