'Tel Drum' suspects, expected by DNA to take notice of seizure imposed by investigators (sources)

Suspects in the "Tel Drum" case are expected on Tuesday at the seat of the National Anti-corruption Directorate (DNA) to take note of the seizure imposed by investigators in this case, judicial sources specified for AGERPRES. 

On 13 November, DNA communicated that Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and national leader of the Social Democratic Party (main ruling PSD) Liviu Dragnea is prosecuted by the anti-corruption prosecutors over the establishment of a criminal group, abuse of office and financial improprieties while he was chairman of the Teleorman County Council. 

Also investigated in the same case are eight more people. 

DNA specified that the case was opened on a complaint from OLAF (European Anti-Fraud Office) sent on September 30, 2016 on the suspicion of several offenses, among which the illegal obtainment, based on false documents, of European funds for rehabilitation works on county roads.
