Romanian tennis player Filip Cristian Jianu won the ITF tournament in Antalya (M15) on Sunday, which offered total prizes of 15,000 dollars, after defeating Russian player Behan Atlangheriev 6-1, 6-1 in the final.
For Jianu (aged 24, ATP's 294th) this is the 14th ITF title of his career and the first this year.
In the first round Jianu beat Russian Fedor Sosedkin 6-0, 6-0, in the round of 16 he defeated Norwegian Johan Oscar Lien 2-6, 6-0, 6-1, in the quarter-finals he overcame Dragos Nicolae Madaras, a Romanian representing Sweden, 6-4, 6-4, and in the semi-finals he won against Ukrainian Oleksandr Ovcharenko in three sets, 6-3, 6-7 (4/7), 6-3.
