Camelia Bogdan, the judge who was twice excluded from the judiciary, made a series of serious accusations against the Romanian justice system and magistrates after losing a lawsuit against the Crescent company.

The court decided that Camelia Bogdan's statements regarding Crescent were unlawful.

According to the Political Investigation Group (GIP), Camelia Bogdan is accusing a "legal error," just as she did last year when she lost a lawsuit against Grivco.

Camelia Bogdan has lost another lawsuit. On July 11, 2025, the Bucharest Court ruled that her statements against Crescent were unlawful. In addition, the court ordered Camelia Bogdan to pay 24,000 lei in court costs.

Following the decision of the Bucharest Court, Camelia Bogdan launched a new series of attacks and threats against magistrates and the Romanian judicial system.

Camelia Bogdan announced that she "publicly condemns the decision of the Bucharest Court" and accused the court of issuing a "profoundly illegal" decision. Although the statements referred to in the trial were made after her dismissal from the judiciary, the former judge said that the decision to dismiss her case "is a violation of the principle of judicial independence" .

Camelia Bogdan accused the Bucharest Court of committing a "legal error" in its decision against her

The former judge threatened to file a complaint to the European Council and the European Commission, claiming that the Romanian justice system does not support her.

Camelia Bogdan's reaction is similar to the one she had in January 2024, after losing another case at the Bucharest Court of Appeal, against Grivco. The court had found that the statements made by the former judge about the company were unlawful, following her dismissal from the judiciary

The former judge said at the time that the judges who did not rule in her favor had committed an illegal act ("It is illegal," "It is a misapplication of the law," "I was struck by the violation of civil law"). Camelia Bogdan accused her former colleagues of incompetence ("The panel demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge of the institution of civil liability"), says GIP.

Camelia Bogdan, who is currently employed by an offshore company in the Cayman Islands, has been twice excluded from the judiciary for violating regulations on the random allocation of cases.

"Camelia Bogdan, an employee of an offshore company in the Cayman Islands, said that Romania is a 'third-rank country' where 'you're not allowed to talk about money laundering'".

She threatened to show "international authorities what kind of country this is".

Finally, Camelia Bogdan, who was expelled from the judiciary after falsifying the Ecris system, creating a ghost panel and handing down an illegal sentence, which was subsequently annulled by the High Court, claimed that she was the victim of a plot by the judicial system," GIP said in a post on social media.
