The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session with all indices in the red and 85.36 million RON (17.27 million euros) worth of transactions.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dropped 0.91 percent to 12,716.35 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares was down by a similar percentage.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers closed 0.78 percent lower, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK fell 0.70 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies dipped 0.19 percent, and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG lost 0.66 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market went down 0.33 percent.

The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Hidroelectrica with 25.54 million RON, followed by Fondul Proprietatea with 10.91 million RON worth of trading, and Banca Transilvania with 10.54 million RON.

The best performing issuers were Zentiva (+5.61 percent), Socep (+5.15 percent), and Artego (+4.40 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Transgaz (-4.94 percent), Aerostar (-4.05 percent), and STK Emergent (-3.82 percent).
