Three gold medals and one silver medal for Romanian athletes at RomGym Trophy

Romanian athletes won three gold medals and one silver medal on Sunday in the apparatus finals at the third edition of the RomGym Trophy competition, organised by the Romanian Gymnastics Federation, the Bucharest City Hall (PMB) and its Culture, Education and Tourism Department.

Ana Maria Barbosu (uneven bars), Sabrina Maneca Voinea (floor) and Andrei Muntean (uneven bars) were on the first step of the podium, and Ana Maria Barbosu was second on the balance beam, according to the Federation's Facebook page, agerpres reports.

A few minutes before the start of the competition, during warm up, Gabriel Burtanete was injured and withdrew from the finals. Amalia Ghigoarta did not compete in the finals of the uneven bars and balance beam events either, as she was excused due to back pain.

On the last day of competition at the RomGym Trophy, gymnasts from Canada, Spain, Israel, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Portugal were on the podium.
