The three-month ROBOR rate, used to calculate the cost of variable-rate consumer loans in lei, rose on Friday to 6.11% per year, from 6.06% in the previous session, according to data published by the National Bank of Romania (BNR).
The six-month rate, used to calculate interest rates on variable-rate mortgage loans in lei, increased to 6.16% per year from 6.12%, while the 12-month ROBOR rate rose to 6.22% from 6.18% in the previous session, agerpres reports.
As for the Reference Index for Consumer Loans (IRCC), regulated by Government Emergency Ordinance 19/2019, it stands at 5.57% per year, calculated as the arithmetic mean of the daily interest rates on interbank transactions in the second quarter of 2026.
