Former President Traian Basescu and his wife Maria have taken the oath of faithfullness as citizens of the Republic of Moldova at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Bucharest. The ceremony was officiated by Ambassador Mihail Gribinca. Upon exiting the Embassy headquarters, Traian Basescu was greeted by a group of followers and supporters.
