The indices of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) had a mixed evolution on Monday, and the transactions totaled 71.19 million lei (13.99 million euros), of which share transactions represented 51.57 million lei (10.14 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.35%, up to 22,785.05 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.32%.
In contrast, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.13%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, fell 0.46%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell 0.27%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up 0.21%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, rose 1.98%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 12.3 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares - 7.9 million lei, and Evergent Investments shares - 3.64 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by MF Capital shares (+6.18%), Altur (+6.06%) and COMCM Constanta (+5.8%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by Armatura shares (-14.91%), UAMT (-8.12%) and Mecanica Ceahlau (-8.1%).
