Transelectrica allocates over 414 million RON for retooling Alba Iulia station

The National Electricity Transport Company - Transelectrica is allocating 414.34 million RON, without VAT, for retooling the Alba Iulia station, the contract to be concluded for a period of 44 months, according to an announcement posted in the Electronic System of Public Procurement (SEAP), informs Agerpres.

The object of the acquisition is a "pilot project for retooling the 220/110/20 KV Alba Iulia station in the concept of a digital station".

The contract provides for IT platforms, electrical equipment, automation systems, electricity system design services and technical assistance services.

According to the announcement, the project will receive non-refundable European funds under the financing contract of October 11, 2022 signed between the Ministry of Energy and CNTEE Transelectrica, whereby the amount of 228.47 million RON is secured from the Modernization Fund.

At the same time, the contract will be awarded through an open tender, and the deadline for receiving offers or requests to participate is January 20, 2025, at 3:00 p.m.

Transelectrica recorded, in the first nine months of 2024, a net profit of 410 million RON, an increase of 99% compared to that seen in the same period of the previous year, according to a report sent to the Bucharest Stock Exchange.
