France represents a major trading partner for Romania and the interest of French investors is growing, especially in areas such as infrastructure and transport, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Ciprian Serban posted on Tuesday on his Facebook page.
The Transport minister met on Tuesday with France's Ambassador to Romania Nicholas Warney.
"Today, I had a meeting with His Excellency, Mr Nicholas Warney, France's Ambassador to Romania. Within the meeting, I highlighted that the relations between Romania and France are solid and based on a strategic partnership reflected in numerous bilateral discussions and a close cooperation at European, NATO and international level. France represents a major trading partner for Romania and the interest of French investors is growing, especially in areas such as infrastructure and transport. We also discussed the continuation of joint projects, including the development of a logistics hub based on the strategic position of the Port of Constanta and the Danube ports, as well as strengthening regional cooperation in railway and air sectors," Transport Minister Ciprian Serban said.
