Romania's unemployment rate, seasonally adjusted, stood at 4.1 percent in September 2018, declining by 0.2 percentage points compared to the figure recorded in the previous month (4.3 percent), according to the data published by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
The number of unemployed in the 15 - 74 age bracket, estimated for September 2018 stood at 370,000, declining compared to the previous month (386,000 persons), but also compared to the same month of the previous year (440,000 people).
Unemployment among people aged 25-74 years was estimated to 3.3 percent for September 2018 (3.8 percent among men and 2.6 percent among women).
The number of the unemployed aged 25-74 years made up 75.1 percent of the total number of the unemployed estimated for September 2018.
