The unemployment rate in Bucharest fell slightly in November, to 1.05% compared to 1.06% in October, according to the Bucharest Municipal Employment Agency (AMOFM).
In total, at the end of November, 12,824 unemployed people were registered in the Agency's records, of whom 6,612 were women.
According to the cited source, 1,174 were beneficiaries of unemployment allowance, and 11,650 were unemployed without compensation.
By age groups, most people come from the category between 40 and 49 years old (3,486 unemployed), followed by those between 50 and 55 years old (2,914 people), between 30 and 39 years old (2,830 people), over 55 years old (2,196 people), between 25 and 29 years old (1,200 people) and under 25 years old (198 people).
The unemployed with high school education have the largest share in the total number of unemployed registered in the AMOFM Bucharest records (36.98%), followed by people with higher education (24.56%), and 17.96% have high school education. Also, the unemployed who graduated from vocational/arts and trades school represent 16.46% of the total registered unemployed, those with post-secondary education are 3.32%, and those with primary education and no education, 0.72%.
The structure of the registered unemployed by to employability level, established by profiling, is as follows: 1,896 very difficult to employ, 4,197 difficult to employ, 3,707 moderately difficult to employ, 3,024 easily employable.AGERPRES
