The number of unemployed people registered in the records of the Municipal Employment Agency (AMOFM) Bucharest was 6,852 at the end of September, equivalent to a rate of 0.52%.
According to a press release from the institution, sent to AGERPRES on Thursday, the data for September is down compared to August, when the unemployment rate was at 0.54%.
Of the total of 6,852 people registered with the Bucharest AMOFM, 1,677 were beneficiaries of unemployment benefits, and 5,175 were unemployed without benefits.
Regarding the structure of the unemployed, most (1,731 people) are in the 30-39 age group, followed by those in the 40-49 age group (1,603 people) and 50-55 age group (1,405 people).
Also, 1,395 unemployed people were in the age category over 55, while 480 people were between 25 and 29 years old, and 238 were under 25 years old.
Official data show that unemployed people with high school education have the highest share in total (36.76%), followed by people with higher education (25.86%) and those who graduated from vocational/arts and crafts school (17.27%). In addition, unemployed people with secondary education represent 16.89%, those with post-secondary education are 2.48%, and those with primary education and no education 0.74%.
The structure of the registered unemployed by employability level, established through profiling, is as follows: 1,170 very difficult to employ people, 2,087 difficult to employ people, 2,102 moderately employable and 1,493 easily employable.
AMOFM Bucharest specifies that the classification into an employability category is carried out as a result of the profiling activity of the persons registered in the institution's records.
