Vodafone Romania has signed the legal documents for the acquisition of Telekom Romania Mobile Communications, the total value of the transaction amounting to 30 million euros, according to a press release sent to AGERPRES on Friday.
According to the abovementioned source, the amount refers exclusively to the acquisition intended for takeover by Vodafone Romania.
"Upon completion of this transaction, estimated for early October this year, Vodafone will gain control over Telekom Romania, including employees, postpaid customers, business customers, the store network and the technical network infrastructure, except for the prepaid segment and certain assets taken over by Digi Romania. Today's conclusion of the relevant transaction documents does not produce effects regarding Vodafone Romania's customers, employees and partners," the press release states.
After the transaction is completed, the two companies will start the integration process in stages, the same source specifies.
