Romanian athlete Dumitru Captari won the bronze medal in the snatch event, the 77 kg category, in the World Weightlifting Championships in Anaheim, California.
Unfortunately, Captari failed all three clean and jerk attempts (with 185, 186 and 190 kg). Mahmoud won the gold, with 196 kg, Rejepov took the silver, with 194 kg, and the bronze went to US athlete Harrison James Maurus, with 193 kg.
In the overall ranking, the first spot was taken by Mahmoud, 361 kg, followed by Rejepov, 352 kg, and Maurus, with 348 kg.
Romania's tally now stands at four medals, after the three won by Loredana Toma, in the 63 kg category.
The Romanian delegation has one representative left in the competition, Leonard-Dumitru Cobzariu (in the 94 kg category).
