Twenty-one towns in Romania will host, between September 27 and 30, the Night of European Researchers as part of the "Marie Sklodowska-Curie" Actions series included in the "Horizon Europe" framework program of the European Union, informs agerpres.

Annually, on the last Friday of September, the Night of European Researchers (event organized in most European Union states) makes science accessible to everyone, through scientific activities that combine education with entertainment, organizing exhibitions, experiments in which the public is actively involved, conferences, games, contests and many others.

Since the first edition of the Night of European Researchers in 2005 and until now, millions of visitors have connected with scientists from all over the continent and beyond. The event annually attracts over 1.5 million visitors from Europe and beyond.

This year, the European Researchers' Night event will be organized in 26 countries. More than 400 European cities and more will host meetings with researchers and scientists, and the public will have the opportunity to get to know them and better understand the impact their work has on everyday life.
