Actor and director Florin Calinescu is topping the list of the United Diaspora Party's European election candidates.
The United Diaspora Party has submitted to the Central Electoral Bureau a list of 31 candidates.
On the second place is Marius Mocan, 40, the chairman and founder of the United Diaspora Party, a sociologist, civic activist and entrepreneur. He is a graduate of the Buckinghamshire New University in the UK, currently residing Luton.
Also featuring on the same lists are the leader of the Brasov chapter, Lavinia Dragusin, two physiotherapists, a media producer, a flight attendant, two doctors, several engineers and economists, and a physicist.
Three of the candidates are residing in France, others in Italy, the UK or France.
In Romania, citizens aged at least 18 years, up to and including on election day, will pick the country's 33 MEPs on June 9.
