Additional voting booths will open at all polling stations in Baia Mare, Maramures County, according to Maramures County Constituency Electoral Bureau.
The Electoral Bureau is said to have ruled in favour of an appeal filed by the National Liberal Party nullifying Decision 93 of June 8 of the District Electoral Bureau 1 Baia Mare.
Under the new ruling, acting Baia Mare Mayor Doru Dancus of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) running for re-election had to order additional voting booths at all polling stations in the city of Baia Mare and do so by noon.
Under the electoral regulations in force, for every 300 voters assigned to a polling station, one booth is provided, capped at five.
