Romania's Attorney General Augustin Lazar said on Tuesday that several prosecutors of the National Anticorruption Directorate (DNA) filed complaints at the General Prosecution Office against requirements to also take a lie detector test, among other moves aimed at determining who had leaked to the media sensitive information about the agency's inner workings.
"Some of our colleagues listed for audience, they came to the General Prosecution Office with a somewhat identical issue, complaining against criminal prosecution acts and the required lie detector test and so on. We registered the papers," Augustin Lazar told the Superior Council of Magistrates (CSM) plenary sitting that decided to hear DNA prosecutors Doru Tulus, Mihaiela Moraru Iorga and Nicolae Marin.
