Alliance for Romanians' Union (AUR) leader George Simion said, coming out of the polling station, that all he wants is a fair vote, a democratic vote, mentioning that he chose "change, for the future."
He added that he voted on Sunday in Bucharest, at the "Gheorghe Lazar" National College, for the European Parliament elections, and will go to the polls in Vrancea for the local elections.
"All we want is a fair vote, all we want is a democratic electoral vote. The vote was short, in two separate elections, so I chose to vote here, in Bucharest, for the EP elections and I will go to Vrancea, where I live, to vote in the local elections. They merged them, we behaved as if they were two separate elections. I voted for the future, I voted for change," said Simion.
The AUR leader came to vote with his wife.
