The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first trading session of the week with gains of over 3% across most indices, and turnover totaled 156 million lei (29.27 million euros).
The main stock exchange index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 4.07% to 33,647.05 points, agerpres reports.
The BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks, closed 3.96% higher, while the extended blue-chip BET-XT indexcomprising the 25 most liquid stocksposted a gain of 3.92%. The BET-FI index recorded a rise of 1.31%.
Additionally, the BET-BK indexthe benchmark for investment fundsclosed 3.73% higher, while the BET-NG, which tracks the performance of energy and utility companies, closed up 4.23%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes representative companies from the AeRO market, recorded a 1.15% gain.
On the regulated market, the most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, generating trades worth 17.63 million lei, followed by OMV Petrom shares with 13.83 million lei, and units of the ETF BET Patria Tradeville open-ended investment fund with 10.94 million lei.
The best performances were recorded by the shares of Cris-Tim Family Holding (+14.74%), One United Properties (+9.36%), and Energopetrol (+7.65%).
On the other hand, the most significant declines were recorded by the shares of Bittnet Systems (-11.36%), Electroaparataj (-6%), and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-3.77%).
