Anamaria Gavrila, leader of the Young People's Party (POT), stated on Monday, following consultations with the President regarding the nomination of the prime minister, that the country needs a government and that POT will not block its formation.
"The country is at a standstill, and it is incredible to see political parties unable to rise above certain egos and vested interests. (...) It is unacceptable! So, we have a message for the political parties: a government must be formed, there must be openness, and everyone needs to understand that they are not here just for themselves. They are here for the country," she said, agerpres reports.
Anamaria Gavrila stated that POT will not block the formation of a government.
"Openness is needed, and all political parties and people in Parliament need to understand that a government is required. We, POT, are here because we want to help, and we certainly won't be the ones to block the formation of a government," she stated.
