The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's session higher, with total trading of 59.46 million lei (11.68 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.29%, up to 23,954.92 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with an increase of 0.31%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.06%, while the BET-NG index, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, rose 0.55%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, gained 0.22%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed down 0.64%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, gained 0.02%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 8.27 million lei, followed by Romgaz shares - 4.05 million lei, and OMV Petrom - almost 3.8 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+14.56%), Prebet (+12.87%) and Ropharma (+8.72%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Altur (-4.69%), Sinteza (-3.94%) and Fondul Proprietatea (-2.74%).
