Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Tuesday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher on all indices on Tuesday's session, with a turnover of 61.6 million RON (12.08 million euros).

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.62%, to 16,560.23 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with gains of 0.55%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 0.68%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, rose by 0.35%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, appreciated by 0.73%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, closed up by 0.46%

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed with an appreciation of 1.04%.

The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 13.456 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares, with 7.016 million RON, and Hidroelectrica, with 4.532 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Teraplast shares (+15.08%), Green Tech International (+14.4%) and Prefab (+11.51%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by Conted shares (-14.08%), Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (-11.01%) and Mecanica Fina (-10.71%).
