Bucharest Stock Exchange closes higher Wednesday's trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher Wednesday's trading session, with a value of transactions of 81.198 million RON (16.008 million euros).

The most liquid were the shares of Banca Transilvania, with 21.259 million RON, Hidroelectrica - with 11.485 million RON, and MedLife - with 4.996 million RON.

The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.08%, to the value of 19,397.17 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 1.09%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an advance of 1.05%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, depreciated by 0.31% compared to the previous day.

At the same time, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment funds' performance, increased by 1.19%, and BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utilities companies, recorded an appreciation of 1.17%.

Also, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed in the red by 1.42%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of Electroaparataj (+11.76%), TTS - (+8.31%), respectively Turism Felix (+7.46%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of COMCM S.A. Constanta (-5.26%), Green Tech International (-2.77%) and Lion Capital S.A. (-2.14%).
