Bucharest Stock Exchange closes lower Friday's session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed lower the last session of the week, with trading of 37.33 million RON (7.5 million euros), of which share transactions totaled 24.43 million RON (4.91 million euros), and bond transactions - 8.59 million RON (1.72 million euros).

The main index, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, fell by 1.14%, to 17,524.73 points, the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares, closed down by 1.13%, while the extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the 25 most liquid securities fell by 1.01%.

On the other hand, the SIF index, BET-FI, lost 0.08%.

The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, recorded a decline of 0.94%, while BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 1.06%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, rose by 0.64%.

The most liquid stocks on the regulated market were those of Banca Transilvania, with 6.29 million RON traded, followed by Hidroelectrica shares, with 2.56 million RON, and Societatea Energetica Electrica - 2.51 million RON.

The best developments were recorded by Romcab (+8.7%), Energopetrol (+8.24%) and Altur (+2.86%).

On the other hand, the most significant decreases were recorded by Condmag (-6.25%), Chimcomplex Borzesti (-5.19%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-4.26%).
