The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Friday's trading session lower on most indices, with total trading at 188.39 million lei (36.98 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, fell by 1.38%, to 27,779.33 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the exchange, also closed down by 1.36%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, "lost" 1.26%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded a decline of 0.79%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, depreciated by 1.18%, while the BET-FI, the SIF index, closed up by 0.88%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, depreciated by 0.56%.
The most liquid stocks were Banca Transilvania shares, with transactions of 20.19 million lei, followed by those of Hidroelectrica - 9.09 million lei and those of OMV Petrom - 7.74 million lei.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+11.2%), Romcab (+2.65%) and Bermas (+2.65%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Artego (-9.17%), COMCM (-8.44%) and Condmag (-7.14%).
