The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Thursday's trading session lower on most indices, with trades totaling 104.07 million RON (20.53 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, depreciated by 0.43%, to 20,559.21 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed down by 0.45%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded a decrease of 0.23%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, gained 0.78%, compared to the previous day.
On the other hand, the BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, gained 0.15% of its value, but BET-NG, which measures the evolution of ten energy and utility companies, fell by 0.24%.
At the same time, the BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded a decrease of 1.44%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions totaling 10.12 million RON, followed by OMV Petrom shares (3.58 million RON), and those of the ETF BET Patria - Tradeville Open-Ended Investment Fund (1.72 million RON).
Positive stock developments were recorded for: Prefab (+9.23%), Green Tech International S.A. (+6.83%) and Artego S.A. (+2.65%).
In contrast, the most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra S.A. (-6.67%), AAGES S.A. (-5.21%) and Romcarbon S.A. (-2.83%).
