The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed higher across most indices on Monday's trading session, with a total turnover of RON 98.237 million (EUR 19.292 million).
The main BVB index, BET, which tracks the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, rose by 0.07% to 24,265.10 points, while BET-Plus, reflecting the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up 0.06%, agerpres reports.
The BET-BK index, a benchmark for investment fund performance, ended up 0.06%, while BET-NG, which tracks the ten energy and utilities companies, recorded a decline of 0.05%.
The extended blue-chip index, BET-XT, covering the 25 most liquid securities, rose 0.05%, whereas the SIF index, BET-FI, fell by 0.52%.
The BET AeRO index, including 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, closed down 0.51%.
The most liquid shares were those of Banca Transilvania, with trades worth RON 15.568 million, followed by Romgaz - RON 13.519 million, and OMV Petrom - RON 5.213 million.
The top performers were Armatura (+14.16%), Sinteza (+5.17%) and Altur (+4.84%).
The largest declines were recorded by AETA (-6.45%), SIF Hoteluri (-5.26%) and Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (-4.17%).
