The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed Monday's trading session higher, and the total turnover exceeded 1.98 billion RON, most of it from Ministry of Finance bonds.
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 1.15%, to 27,457.84 points. BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed up by 1.10%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, gained 1.38%, while BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, registered an advance of 1.04%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, appreciated by 1.28%, and the SIF index, BET-FI, closed up by 1.67%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an advance of 0.53%.
The most liquid stocks were those of Digi Communications, with transactions of 22.91 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania shares - 14.89 million RON, and those of OMV Petrom - 9.79 million RON.
The best developments were recorded by Promateris shares (+6.92%), MedLife (+6.75%) and Lion Capital (+5.08%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-13.42%), Prefab (-5.26%) and AETA (-4.17%).
