The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the first session of this week with an increase on almost all indices, with a total turnover of 97.98 million RON (19.25 million euros).
The main index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, appreciated by 0.79%, up to 24,046.73 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the Exchange, closed with an increase of 0.75%.
The BET-BK index, the benchmark for investment fund performance, closed up 0.44%, and the BET-NG, which measures the performance of ten energy and utility companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.63%.
The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, recorded an increase of 0.77%, while the SIF index, BET-FI, closed down by 0.31%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, lost 0.57%.
The most liquid securities were those of Banca Transilvania, with transactions of 11.89 million RON, followed by Romgaz shares - 7.98 million RON, and those of Hidroelectrica - 7.65 million RON
The best developments were recorded by Promateris shares (+6.50%), Altur (+5.65%) and BRD Groupe Societe Generale (+3.53%).
The most significant decreases were recorded by the shares of Electroaparataj (-11.05%), Prefab (-9.70%) and Condmag (-3.85%).
