Bucharest Stock Exchange closes Wednesday's trading session higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange closed Wednesday's trading session higher, and the total turnover amounted to 77.55 million RON (15.62 million euros), more than half of which was provided by exchanges with Hidroelectrica shares.

The most traded companies on the Regulated Market were Hidroelectrica, with a turnover of 48.43 million RON, Banca Transilvania, with 6.44 million RON, and Nuclearelectrica - 3.41 million RON, agerpres reports.

The main BET index appreciated by 0.85%, up to 14,204.86 points, while BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 37 shares on the Stock Exchange, recorded an increase of 0.84%.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid shares, closed up 0.76%, and the index of SIFs, BET-FI, appreciated by 0.44%.

The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, closed the session up by 0.73%, while the BET-NG, which measures the performance of the ten energy and utility companies, appreciated by 0.32%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, registered an advance of 0.69%.

The best developments were recorded by the shares of SIF Hotels (+12.93%), Santierul Naval Orsova (+4.37%) and One United Properties (+3.27%).

On the other hand, the most important decreases were recorded by the shares of Promateris (-1.50%), IAR Brasov (-1.20%) and the ETF Energie Patria-Tradeville Open Fund (-1.15%).
