Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday's session in the red with total transactions amounting to 9.99 million lei (1.96 million euros)

Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday's session lower across all indices, with total transactions amounting to 9.99 million lei (1.96 million euros), 40 minutes into the session.

The main BET index, which reflects the development of the 20 most liquid companies, fell by 0.47%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, registered a drop by 0.45%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, dropped 0.52%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, fell by 0.58%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs declined by 0.38%, while the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, lost 0.44%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, recorded a decline by 0.86%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by UAM (+7.77%), Comelf (+6.51%) and Electromagnetica (+3.08%).

On the other hand, the shares of Patria Bank (-3.05%), IAR Brasov (-2.60%) and One United Properties (-2.03%) were down.
