Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the red on Thursday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's session with a decline in all indices transactions amounting to 10.62 million RON (2.13 million euros) 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, lost 0.93%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, saw a 0.90% decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, lost 0.85%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.63%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decline of 0.22%, and BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded a decline of 0.84%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 1.49%.

According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Turism Felix (+7.84%), Rompetrol Well Services (+3.32%) and Arobs Transilvania Software (+3.25%).

On the other hand, shares of COMCM Constanta (-6.36%), Safecht Innovations (-2.92%) and Santierul Naval Orsova (-2.82%) were down.
