The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday's session slightly higher, with total transactions amounting to 6.41 million lei (1.26 million euros) 40 minutes into the session.
The main BET index, which shows the development of the 20 most liquid companies, gained 0.01%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the development of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, stagnated.
At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.03%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, was up 0.15%.
The BET-FI index of SIFs increased by 0.40%, while the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, fell by 0.05%, Agerpres informs.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, stagnated.
According to the BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+12.21%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+4.53%) and Artego (+2.75%).
On the other hand, the shares of Energopetrol (-8.64%), Purcary Wineries Public Company Limited (-4.31%) and STK Emergent (-2.42%) were down.
