Bucharest stock market opens Thursday's trading session lower

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Thursday's trading session with all indices going down and with RON 15.9 million (EUR 3.2 million) worth of transactions performed in the first 50 minutes after the start of trades.

The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dipped 0.20 percent, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares was also down 0.21 percent.

The extended blue-chip index BET-XT of the top-liquid 25 issuers lost 0.23 percent, while the return benchmark index for stock investment funds BET-BK slid 0.30 percent.

The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was 0.09 percent lower, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG fell 0.17 percent.

The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market was down 0.25 percent.

According to BVB, the issuers to see the largest price rise were Bermas (+2.67 percent), SSIF BRK Financial Group (+2.26 percent), and Alro (+1.61 percent).

Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were STK Emergent (-5.47 percent), COMCM (-4.37 percent), and Vrancart (-2,78 percent).
