The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) closed the session on Wednesday with losses on most indices and the value of the transactions amounted to 51.195 million RON (10.288 million euros).
The main index of the Stock Exchange, BET, which includes the 20 most traded companies listed on the Regulated Market, recorded a depreciation of 0.21%, up to 18,019.21 points, and BET-Plus, which shows the evolution of the most liquid 43 shares from the BVB, closed with a decline of 0.24%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell 0.16%, while the SIF index BET-FI closed up 0.54%.
The BET-BK index, the yield benchmark of investment funds, appreciated by 0.11%, and the BET-NG, which measures the evolution of the ten energy and utility companies, closed down by 0.37%.
The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, recorded an appreciation of 0.21%.
Hidroelectrica, with transactions of 10.665 million RON, followed by Banca Transilvania - 9.549 million RON and OMV Petrom - 2.968 million RON had the most liquid securities.
The best developments were recorded by the shares of SIF Hotels (+5.41%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+4.62%) and Infinity Capital Investments (+2.53%), while the most important decreases were registered by Energopetrol (-12.03%), Prebet (-5.49%) and Carbochim (-4.85%).
