The Bucharest stock market closed mixed on Wednesday, with trades amounting to RON 529 million (EUR 106 million), of which bonds accounted for over RON 480 million.
The main BET index, which tracks the most liquid 20 companies, dropped 0.04 percent to 14,730.80 points, and the BET-Plus index which shows the evolution of the top liquid 43 shares took a similar dip, agerpres reports.
The BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies went up 0.22 percent, while the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG rose 0.03 percent.
The BET AeRO index of the 20 representative companies on the AeRO market advanced 0.57 percent.
The most traded stocks on the Regulated Market were Hidroelectrica with a turnover of RON 11 million, followed by Fondul Proprietatea with RON 5.9 million worth of trading, and Romgaz with RON 3.8 million.
The best performing issuers were Electrocontact (+11.43 percent), Bittnet (+3.72 percent), and Rompetrol Well Services (+3.66 percent).
Conversely, the issuers on a significant downward trend were Romcab (-7.05 percent), BVB (-4.39 percent), and Altur (-4.07 percent).
