The Government will adopt on Friday the budget draft on 2017 and on the same day it can be submitted to Parliament, according to Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu.
In his turn, the Public Finance Minister, Viorel Stefan, specified that on Friday evening the budget draft can be submitted to Parliament.
"In my opinion, the draft can be submitted to Parliament on Friday evening, so the calendar based on the most pessimistic scenario could be shifted by a day as compared to the initial calendar, which entailed our being on Thursday evening in Parliament," affirmed the Public Finance Minister.
At the same time, Prime Minister Grindeanu specified that in the Government session on Wednesday, a note regarding the limits of revised spending will be discussed.
"What has happened (...) in the last 24 hours is worth appreciating. That is why today, we can come in the Government's meeting with the note regarding the limits on revised spending. (...) I appreciate the fact that each of you, for the budgets that you have at your ministries, you have foreseen spending on the programmes included in the governing programme. This has been the purpose of the last 24-hour discussions, so that everything that we promised in the governing programme on the budgetary year 2017 finds itself in your budgets," further communicated Sorin Grindeanu to the ministers of his Cabinet.
