Health Minister Alexandru Rogobete declared on Tuesday that the current governing coalition is "in pre-anesthesia" and added that PSD ministers have not received a request from the party to resign from the Government after the state budget law is adopted.
Rogobete was asked if, after PSD passed several amendments to the budget law with the help of AUR, it can be said that the current governing coalition has entered intensive care.
"I don't think he's in intensive care. He's in pre-anesthesia, I could say, he's not in intensive care yet. (...) The political situation, and the imbalance, and the tension that are visible in the public space, I don't think is a surprise to anyone. That's why I said he's in pre-anesthesia," Rogobete said in Parliament.
The Minister of Health was also asked if there was a request from the PSD to its own ministers to leave the government and submit their resignations after the budget law is adopted.
"There was no such request. As you know, the PSD's public position is that it will start an internal consultation within the party regarding the activity of the ministers, on the one hand, and the activity and positioning in the governing act," he also said.
He stated that PSD did not violate the coalition protocol when it submitted the amendments regarding the social package to the budget, because the budget is "the vision of the political coalition, it is the vision of the political act and the vision of the relevant ministry."
