The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed Thursday's trading session higher on total trades of RON 147.86 million (EUR 29.06 million).
The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with over RON 39.12 million in trades, followed by OMV Petrom, which generated trades worth RON 15.71 million, and Hidroelectrica, with trades of RON 9.06 million.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 1.41% to 25,240.08 points, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks advanced 1.39%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 1.30%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 1.11%.
The BET-FI index of financial investment stocks increased by 0.96%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, advanced 1.30%.
The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was up 0.35%.
The top three risers were IAR Brasov (+11.22%), Prefab (+8.26%) and Electromagnetica (+7.03%).
The top three fallers were Armatura (-8.80%), Aeta (-6.50%) and Turism, Hoteluri, Restaurante Marea Neagra (-6.36%).
