The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks closed lower on Thursday on trades of RON 70.63 million (EUR 13.88 million).
The most traded stocks were Banca Transilvania, with RON 11.63 million in trades, followed by Electrica, which generated trades worth RON 4.75 million, and Petrom, with trades of RON 4.64 million.
The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks declined 0.54% to 22,487.97, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks went down 0.50%.
The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks fell by 0.63%, while the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was down 0.55%.
The BET-FI index of financial intermediation stocks decreased by 1.88%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.85%.
The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies was down 1.97%.
The top three risers were Armatura (+14.97%), Green Tech International (+6.13%), and Aeta (+5.17%).
On the other hand, the top three fallers were Carbochim (-13.04%), Bittnet Systems Bucharest (-6.23%) and Infinity Capital Investments (-4.68%).
