The Board of the National Bank of Romania (BNR) decided today to keep the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 1.25 pct per annum, the central bank said in a release.
The monetary authority also decided to maintain the deposit facility rate at 0.75 pct per annum and the lending facility rate (Lombard) at 1.75 pct per annum.
The minimum reserve requirement ratios on both leu- and foreign currency-denominated liabilities of credit institutions stay unchanged at the current level. AGERPRES
