The Standing Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies has approved on Monday a request from the Institute of the Romanian Revolution of 1989 referring to displaying some photographs taken during the days of the 1989 Revolution in Romania, agerpres reports.
Therefore, the monitors in the Chamber headquarters will display a series of photographs from that period.
At the same time, in the hall of the Chamber of Deputies there will be setup an exhibition showcasing these photos, "meant to bring back to the memory of those visiting the Palace of Parliament the sacrifice of the Romanian people to overthrow the Ceausescu dictatorial regime," the request mentions.
