Custodian of the Crown of Romania, Her Majesty Margareta, and His Royal Highness Prince Radu welcomed on Tuesday at the Elisabeta Palace Chief of Defense Staff, General Gheorghita Vlad, with the dialogue focusing on the security of the eastern flank of the European Union and NATO.
"The Custodian of the Crown and the CoD discussed the security of the European Union and NATO's eastern flank, Romania's role in maintaining stability on the continent and in the region, as well as on the public commitments of the Royal Family aimed at deepening the relationship between civilians and military personnel in Romanian society, promoting higher military education and the better understanding of Romania's contribution to the European Union and NATO," reads a post on the 'Royal Family of Romania' Facebook page.
