The reindustrialization of the country and solid financial support for SMEs represent the two main pillars for the country's economy to develop healthily, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said on Saturday, after the meeting with the representatives of the business environment in Arad.
"I agreed with the representatives of the business environment in Arad that the reindustrialization of the country and the solid financial support for SMEs represent the two big pillars for the country's economy to develop healthily! In our view, public investment means not only money allocated for infrastructure - roads, hospitals and schools. Equally important are the investments made in Romanian people and companies, in Romania's human resources, i.e. in energetic and daring people, capable of becoming business champions," Ciolacu wrote on Facebook, Agerpres informs.
According to him, this year, investments in the Romanian economy reach almost 120 billion RON.
"We invest billions of euros annually to support the businesses of local companies. This year, despite all the problems, we managed to reach investments of almost 120 billion RON in the Romanian economy! Arad has every right to hope for more and more investments and I will support this county to accelerate its economic growth because there is a huge potential that we must fully exploit. This is the sure way to develop Romania together," Ciolacu said.
